But you're social studies! Social studies is all about opinion and myth and rumor and intrigue. In Social studies almost all facts are opinions, n'est-ce pas? So don't wimp out on me--what kind of lesson could you create that would cover your content using "Alleged Global Warming" as your topic?
Yes, you'll have to look beyond your personal beliefs but find a way to help students determine and believe in their own beliefs.
